Villa Can fiolet

rural and quiet location - the 3 cats in the house - the Mediterranean look of the house - the friendly landlord - the pool - we would love to come back

We were vacationing in the finca "Can Fiolet" with 4 adults (two couples) from October 8th to 15th, 2023 and were warmly welcomed by the landlord and even the parents on the day of arrival. The old farmhouse has been in the family for 300 years and is very tastefully furnished in Mallorcan style. The landlord Julian can always be reached via WhatsApp and is available to give you advice and support if you wish. At seven in the morning, the 40 square meter pool is cleaned and the beautiful outdoor area is maintained and watered. One morning we even had a surprise on the large breakfast table on the covered veranda between the pool and the residential building. The walking-impaired dog “Luna” is always there and looks after the area. There are also a few cats, but they don't bother anyone. Parking spaces for cars are available. In short, it was one of the most beautiful holidays we have ever had and we would do it again at any time.

The homeowner welcomed us warmly and explained everything calmly. We had a great week in Can Fiolet. Nice house with all the trimmings and a large swimming pool that we used every day. It felt like home with the sweet dog Luna. She was part of our family. The 3 cats who visited us regularly and the 2 goats who walked around happily at a distance. Lovely in the countryside. Palma and the beaches are within walking distance. 30 minutes drive. Algaida is a nice village.

Nice hosts who brought us a sweet surprise for breakfast, clean "vintage" house, well-equipped kitchen, great pool (mild salt water), super-loving dog (Luna) and two cats. The house is in an absolutely quiet location - a car is recommended. I didn't like: the weather ;-)

This beautiful and quiet finca in a traditional Mallorcan style invites you to relax and linger. You are practically completely alone and can simply unwind. No matter whether in the house, on the terrace or directly by the pool. There are many beautiful places. The kitchen is very well equipped and there was already water and fruit in the fridge when we arrived. The host family was very friendly and extremely helpful. Julián was also the perfect host during our stay and answered all of our questions very quickly. He takes care of the property every morning without anyone noticing him. So everything was always neat and fresh. Not a given! Luna, a very sweet dog, guards the finca and likes to be cuddled with. We felt very at home and would come back at any time. We can warmly recommend this finca!

Delicious authentic Spanish house out in the countryside. The house was well maintained and clean. The hosts did everything to make it nice to be there. There was nothing bad about the house, but for us it was too far away from a town. Teressen was super nice. The pool was good big and very clean. Unfortunately, we were not informed that a dog lived in the house. Our children are afraid of dogs. But we found a solution which meant that we had a good holiday. But there was no help from Booking.com. We had contact with Booking 3 times when we arrived. The first 2 times they got us right that there was no information about a dog. The third time on the same day, the information had suddenly appeared on the Booking.com website. We are very dissatisfied with Booking. But the owner of the house found a solution which meant that we had a really good holiday in the house.

The house with really big garden, terrace and pool was really great! The hosts were really nice! The house is not far from Palma and Airport! But in a really quiet area of Agaida. We can really recommend it to families and a group of people which like to have a great stay on Mallorca. Being by themselves but can go almost everywhere on the Island within one hour by car or less! Thump up!!!

The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The land is immense and isolated, it’s more than pleasant! The bedding is comfortable and the house is well equipped.

Perfect stay! very clean and welcoming house. The bedding is comfortable. The equipment is great, it really has everything you need! Quiet and relaxing location. Household linen and pool towels available. The icing on the cake was Lluna, the adorable and endearing dog, who we obviously kept with us throughout the stay. We also recommend renting a car or scooter to get around. The village square is very pleasant and friendly.

Excellent stay! A perfect welcome and great care which continued throughout the stay. The house is very well equipped, very clean, we felt very good there. the exterior is a real gem! A little corner of paradise where it's good to relax and the cherry on the cake Luna pleasantly accompanied us all week ;-) Communication with the owners was more than perfect! In short, to do it again with your eyes closed!

Finca Can Fiolet has captured our hearts. After several hours of research, we finally decided on this finca. And what can we say, we weren't disappointed. ? Communication regarding arrival went smoothly via the Homerti brokerage platform. The Finca Can Fiolet is located in a small town called Algaida, about 15 minutes by car from the airport. Julian welcomed us warmly to the finca with his parents and their house and farm dog, Lluna, who we immediately took to our hearts. You should know that Lluna lives on the premises of the finca and, depending on your wishes, can be with the residents or spend the whole day in her kennel. We decided to let Lluna out of her kennel every morning and had her around us all day. We have a dog at home ourselves, so it was natural for us to have her around. :) A few chickens and two cats also live on the premises. Now to the finca: The house offers everything you need for a great stay. Furnished in a Mallorcan style, there is nothing missing in the house. It offers enough space and is pleasantly cool on the ground floor. There is air conditioning on the upper floor. The finca has top basic equipment and much more (e.g. spices, dishwashing liquid, napkins, garbage bags, toilet paper, water toys, barbecue accessories, cooking accessories...) We were greeted with a bottle of wine, water and fresh fruit from the garden. Julian comes every morning around 7am to clean the pool, water the beautiful plants and feed the animals. However, we never saw him. ?? The pool has salt water, which we found very pleasant. All in all, this finca is the perfect place to switch off, have some peace and quiet (we didn't see any neighbors) and enjoy the wonderful pool all day long. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you very much to Julian and his family for this wonderful stay!

Julian's family's finca is simply fantastic. Huge property, everything beautifully maintained, pool large & clean, lots of seating in the sun/shade, kitchen well equipped, everything very clean, towels for the bathroom & pool were provided. In the fridge there was welcome wine, water, grapes and ice. One day the family brought us a Mallorcan specialty and the next morning we got fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. It's a Garden of Eden with lemons, plums, oranges, apricots & figs. The location of the finca is quite remote, i.e. a rental car is essential. The nearest supermarket is about 10-12 minutes away. The nearest beach is about 15 minutes away. And in just 20 minutes you can reach the trendy Santa Catalina district in Palma. Definitely coming back!

This Airbnb is a complete hidden gem! It was the perfect place for a relaxing get away and felt like we were on a movie. We were received with a very warm welcome from the hosts and realized right away that the home is even better than we expected. A lot of attention detail has been put into the space, including a fully functional kitchen with two large refrigerators, comfy beds and fans in the bedrooms, and plenty of towels. There is a grill outside for BBQing, lounge chairs and umbrellas around the pool, and the internet works really well! We were also traveling with a 10 month old and they had a very comfy baby bed and high chair for us to use. We highly recommend this private oasis. It is a quick 15 minute drive from the airport and 25 minutes from Palma.

It is clean and offers everything you need. The location ist perfect to explore the island. We enjoyed every minute. Anna

The finca is beautifully located and well equipped. You can reach the airport and Palma in 15 minutes by car. The contact with the hosts was very nice and problem-free. We miss Luna (the dog) a lot already!

We had a wonderful time at the Can Fiolet estate! The finca is really a dream and offers everything you need. It is very traditional and decorated with a lot of charm. The pool invites you to cool down and relax. The dog Lluna immediately made us feel at home! Julian and his family are perfect hosts, communication was excellent! We would spend our vacation here again at any time! Thank you for the great time!

Nice details and a very well-equipped finca.

The Can Fiolet is a typical Mallorcan country house that is around 300 years old and has not only been beautifully converted. It is very lovingly furnished and has excellent facilities, so that you immediately feel very at home. The landlords are very nice and accommodating, we even got fresh eggs from their own chickens every day. The pool is not particularly large at around 6x4 meters, but is ideal for splashing around and even suitable for swimming. The rooms are all up to date, very tastefully decorated and very clean.

The house is fantastic ! We were really well received, and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is localed in a quiet place, not so far from Palma (20 minutes), all equipment needed is provided (and more than expected) and the swimming pool is fabulous ! We felt like we were at home :) Thank you very much to all the family !

Hello! We had booking 14-21 June in Villa Can Fiolet, Algaida, Mallorca, booking no. 34766. We enjoyed very much the stay there and we want to see very positive feedback. I hope these opinions will arrive also to the owners and will be published in your site about Can Fiolet, please let us know if something about our reviews are published and where. I sent a week ago review to Holidu site, through them we did our first booking and we are also very grateful for you, the travel agencies Vacalia and Homerti and of course, the owners of this great house. And my side I could add, that: We enjoyed very much the stay in Can Fiolet, such a nice place, beautiful old house, very nice garden and surroundings, we had relaxed time in swimming pool, it was a real home-feeling there. It was quiet and peaceful countryside and not far from Palma, airport, the beach, most of sightseeings as Formentor, Drac caves, Sa Calobra, Soller, Marineland, Aqualand el Arenal, etc. The dog and cat were really part of family during our stay and it was sad to leave them. We have best memories and liked the place very much and suggest it everybody, to families and others. It was very friendly welcome by owners and they left in the mornings some surprise to the table, the local bread, eggs, some sweet etc., thank you for hosting us and we remember always that great place, Can Fiolet. I loved the quietness of the countryside area and the ancient house, which was tastefully renovated with authentic style, had all facilities and lots of space. We really felt like at home. It was good that we had good sleep, there was dark in the rooms, although the sun already shined in sky when we woke up. The dog Lluna and the cat Taca gave us lots of joy during our weekly holiday. They were best friends and we miss them already. The property has also henyard, so we heard cock-a-doodle-doos for a while. There was beautiful garden with lots of flowers and trees. You can just go to the garden and pick up some fresh lemons and plums. The hosted family was kind, friendly and caring. We found some local bread, pies, cakes or eggs (from “our” hens) left to the garden table every morning – it was nice surprise from the family. We all liked the pool very much, especially the children. We enjoyed our staying at Can Fiolet so much that it was a pity to go away. The customer didn't like that: the property was absolutely unkempt and dilapidated. The finca has a single window in the living area. The adjoining dining/kitchen area is dark. Nothing works without light.
